Despite a soft opening and declining figures for the warner bros . Action feature elsewhere in the world . Furiosa scored a strong start for an international film in japan, where audiences are increasing turning toward local production .

The film took 2.05M during its three day opening weekend in japan . Recording 199,163 admissions from May 31 to june 2. This exceeded figures for the opening weekend of mad max : fury road in japan. Where it opened on june 20 , 2015 and took 1.7M from 175579 admissions .

MOVIE REVIEW :

There are many things I have always loved about the mad max movie , and intense story is one of them . There no continuity, no narrative references to or consequences from a previous to or consequences from a previous chapter abd other than max rockatansky and his last of the v8 interceptors theres never been a returning character and location or faction . they don’t necessarily take in any order, and they’re so sepate that some people think tom hardy’s max is a different character from mel gison’s . I’ve always thought of them as more like the man with no name Than say star wars. There are many complex themes throughout the whole mad max franchise of films .

Whilst furiosa is'nt a bad action film, i suspect its lacklustre response from audiences,reflects not whats on offer but whats absent.

On the upside is loads of hearts stopping action, amazing cinematic's , great sets , plus strong perfomances from the cast.
